Submission Guidelines

Effective Date: August 5, 2025


Thank you for your interest in sharing your creative work with Holroyd & Co. Media Group, LLC (operating as Golden Aperture) or Holroyd Literary Works, LLC. We are committed to showcasing diverse voices and providing a respectful, inclusive space for artists and writers. To ensure consistency, fairness, and legal compliance, please carefully review and follow the guidelines below before submitting your work.


1. Who Can Submit
We welcome submissions from all artists, writers, and creators, regardless of background or experience. Submissions from minors (under age 18) must be accompanied by verifiable parental or guardian consent.


2. What You Can Submit
We accept:

  • Visual art (photography, illustration, painting, digital works)

  • Written work (poetry, short fiction, creative nonfiction)

  • Mixed media and experimental formats, where applicable

Submissions must be your original work and not under consideration elsewhere unless otherwise disclosed.


3. Submission Process
All submissions must be sent via the official submission form on our website or by email to submissions@hcmgarts.com. Please include:

  • Your full name and preferred display name (if different)

  • A brief artist or author bio (50–150 words)

  • A high-resolution file or text document of your work

  • Any relevant titles, dates, or descriptions

  • Signed parental consent form (if under 18)

  • A clear statement that you agree to these guidelines and our terms


4. Review Timeline and Notification
We aim to respond to submissions within 2–4 weeks. If selected for publication or feature, you will receive a confirmation email with details. Due to volume, we cannot provide personalized feedback on all submissions.


5. Copyright and Usage Rights
You retain full copyright of your work. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, promote, and archive your work on our website and related digital platforms. You may request removal at any time with reasonable notice.


6. Content Standards
We do not accept content that:

  • Contains hate speech, graphic violence, or explicit sexual content

  • Promotes discrimination, illegal activity, or misinformation

  • Plagiarizes or infringes on the rights of others

We reserve the right to reject or remove any submission that violates these standards at our discretion.


7. Payment and Compensation
At this time, submission is unpaid unless explicitly stated otherwise. Selected contributors will receive social media promotion, publication credit, and a featured slot on our site or newsletter.


8. Editing and Formatting
We may make minor edits to spelling, formatting, or grammar for clarity and presentation. Substantial changes will not be made without your approval.


9. Withdrawal Policy
If you wish to withdraw your submission before it is published, please contact us immediately. If your work has already been published, we will remove it upon written request within a reasonable timeframe.


10. Agreement to Terms
By submitting your work, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these guidelines, including our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Legal Disclaimers.
